Groups

Healing happens in relationship.

There is something uniquely therapeutic about sitting with people who don't need you to explain yourself. People who understand the language of waiting rooms, scan results, caregiving, losses, and re-learning how to live after life has changed.

In the right group you don't have to have the right words. You don't have to compare your experience to anyone else's. You can simply arrive as you are.

Sometimes healing comes from sharing your own story. Sometimes it comes from listening to someone else's. Most often, it comes from realizing that what had previously felt alienating is actually deeply human.

Support Groups

Support groups offer gentle space for honest conversation, compassionate listening, and new perspectives.

Within each group you have an opportunity to:

  • speak openly about experiences that may feel difficult to discuss elsewhere

  • learn practical ways to navigate uncertainty, grief, caregiving, or life amid illness

  • reflect on meaning, identity, and what continues to matter most

My support groups are offered through the HeartLight Center of Denver.

Family Caregiver Support Group

Discussion Groups

Discussion groups offer a place to slow down, reflect, and learn from one another.

Within each group you have an opportunity to:

  • explore the emotional, ethical, and human dimensions of living with loss and uncertainty

  • discover new perspectives that can deepen compassion for yourself and those around you

  • leave with greater understanding, connection, and confidence engaging in difficult conversations

My discussion groups are offered through the HeartLight Center and Park Hill Library.
