Cancer Conversations
Looking straight at it - with honesty, humor, and humanity.
A cancer diagnosis forces you to view yourself, and life, differently. But you are more than your diagnosis, your symptoms, and your treatments. And life is more than fear about scans, anger at medical systems, and grief about losses.
While many people now relate to you in terms of your physical health, you know it’s your mental and emotional well-being that needs as much – or more – attention.
Cancer Conversations let you share, listen, and connect with others who understand what you’re living through.
Together we discuss big topics like abandonment, helplessness, and hope. We look at redefining “strength” and “safety.” We laugh at the absurdities and sympathize with the humilities.
If you’ve been struggling to put your experience into words, have been desperate to talk to others, or are simply needing the non-judgmental company of people who share your experiences, please join us.
Meetings are held virtually.
